Our SACE Stage 1 Drama students will soon perform their production of Intersection: Orbit in collaboration with Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP).
Audiences will enjoy three 15-minute brand-new plays that have never been performed before, commissioned by ATYP. Students have formed theatre companies and created diverse worlds with their own agency and skills鈥攜ou will see a fractured recount of a harrowing event (Driving Everywhere and Nowhere at Once); a dark comedy with impending doom (What Would Brian Cox Do?) and a poetic exploration of romance (Begin to Glow). Based on this performance, some companies may be selected to debut these new plays at the ATYP Intersection Festival in August alongside other SA schools.
